1I, too, regret the purchase  Jun 22, 2010
This was an impulse buy during one of those buy two get one preowned sales at gamestop. Trying to find that third game to get for "free". REGRET IT. Boring. Not a lot of games. Hate it so much we haven't unlocked anything to see what its like. Graphics are terrible with a capital T. My husband begged us to turn it off. Thought my two girls would love it, but not so much. I do like having a variety of games, but this one is never chosen. Save your money to buy the good stuff (Wii Sports...which everyone has...Wii Fit Plus, Wii Sports Resort, Just Dance, Guiness).

1The only game that's ever made my kids cry...  Feb 12, 2010
First off we didn't buy this game from Amazon, but being we bought it from Target (who Amazon sells for) and Amazon being the review capital of the world I figured this was as good of a place to do my ranting... Couple months ago my wife calls me while shopping at Target and says "They're having a sale on Wii game two packs and one has My sims kingdom and some carnival game" A bit skeptical I quickly look up reviews on trusty Amazon, My sims kingdom got decent marks and the Carnival games had great reviews so I told her for $25 grab it! Well when I got home the first thing I realized was it wasn't Carnival game at all but this bag of heap instead...

So I go to check reviews here on it and it was all downhill after that as the kids already broke open Sims and were playing it (hence we could not return the lot back to Target). Let me tell you the reviews are right on the money for this game, but let me add my 2 cents in, in the hopes I might feel a wee bit better, sigh... Now it wasn't a total waist in that the kids do like the Sims game, but bottom line this game is just down right horrible and was so frustrating for our kids, all it did was make them pout and cry out of frustration. Even I got frustrated and threw it back in the box. Make no mistake it will be sold off or used in one of those exchange things some stores do. It's gone back in our Wii from time to time only to be met with the same disappointing results and it will never go back in our Wii again! If anyone from the development or product staff ever reads this (and I hope they do), you idiots really should be ashamed of yourselves as you've made more tears with this game than smiles...

More about the game, it advertises some 30+ game separated into like 5 amusement parks, 4 of which you have to unlock by playing the games and earning tickets if you do well enough. Well that's one problem in that most of the games are so ridiculously hard, poorly done, or just so frustrating that you cannot accomplish it or get a high enough score to earn tickets, but instead end up loosing your tickets rather than gaining new ones. Also lets set something straight about the 30 games right now, I only saw / unlocked not even half of them and you know that game where you have a hammer and there are nine slots and you try to bang the creatures when they pop up? Well I saw 3 different versions of this game. So their "30+" games are probably more like 10 but with different variations. Not only that, just wrap your mind around this for a sec... Have you ever played that game where there's a curvy metal bar and you have a metal loop which goes around it and the goal is to slide the loop around the bar without touching it? Well some idiot on their staff actually thought this would be a good game for the Wii. Given the innate difficulty of this type of game to begin with coupled with a cumbersome Wii controller which you use to point and slide the loop along, one can get a sense of how ridiculous this game is. It's not fun for anyone and literally impossible for kids let alone adults. For most of the other games though the bar is set so high that again you cannot achieve your goal and get any tickets to make any forward progress. Obviously the developers have no kids of their own and couldn't even wrap their little minds around what would be good for kids. There was no difficulty setting for this game so again if you cannot get to a certain score on an event your only choice is to try again which just builds the frustration or stick to another event you can do. Well that narrows your game play to just a couple event which get rather boring quickly. I would give this game 0 / 5 if Amazon would let me.

Final thoughts... This would be an excellent game to give to prison inmates to further punish them for their crimes.

2boring  Feb 08, 2010
I was fortunate to buy this in a two pack for a cheap price, so I didn't waste too much money. The games are dumb and boring. Graphics are horrible and my character tended to stand in one spot most of the game play. In other words, not very interactive. Mario party is much better or try Carnival.

1Horrible game  Jan 06, 2010
It is ridiculous that you have to unlock the other games to play them. I am so glad I only rented this one and did not buy it. I rented it for my son thinking he would love the pirate ship game but was never even able to let him play it because I wasn't able to unlock it. He did enjoy the crack shot game and the cocnut topple, but other than that, was not too thrilled with the rest. Plus there are only five or six games you can play if you cannot unlock the other games, so it gets boring fast.

3fun for <$10 but not worth more than that  Dec 31, 2009
I bought this game for $9 for 2 girls who are 8yo and 7yo and just got a Wii. They love the game and the different carnival areas and the idea of winning tickets. Learning to play the games was fairly easy to them, and they love swinging the remote and playing in different scenarios.
However, I agree with the other reviewers; though there are many games many of them are repetitive in the game play. I still enjoyed playing the games for 3 days but could see how people could get bored with the game. It's woth more than paying $12 to go to the movies, but don't expect too much from this game.
