I bought this stick to go with my copy of Wii's NHL slapshot, because Amazon suggested it. It turns out that this stick does not have the nunchuck holder that is required for use with the game. So Amazon suggested I waste 15 dollars, and I did. This has been the only bad experience I've had with Amazon, but think it could be all too common.
On top of that, this piece of plastic is junk, it's a waste of money.

A warning to other Amazon customers: this stick is fine for what it is but IT IS NOT THE CORRECT STICK for NHL Slapshot.
That game requires a holder for the Nunchuk, and this stick does not provide one. EA makes their own stick you can buy from Amazon.
This should not be bundled with NHL Slapshot.

Great addition to your WII Acessories makes playing Hockey much more enjoyable!!! WARNING just don't hit your spouse with it while playing....results could be very catastrophic :) :)

It sounded like a good idea at the time. The Wii hockey stick is designed to give you a true experience for hockey games. The problem is that the stick is not really that long. My seven year old is too tall for it to touch the floor so he can't play like a "real hockey player". He's 53 inches tall. The other problem is that the wii remote doesn't always perform well inside the stick. Though, I find this to be a problem with a lot of the accessories for sports games. Skip this one.

I purchased this to play with the NHL2K10. We were unable to use this because we need the Wii remote with a classic game controlled attached. Hockey stick was useless. We sent it back.
