extremely frustrating to use Feb 16, 2009
I don't know if this happened after they arrived and were used a few times, but this thing doesn't respond properly to where your feet are positioned. I'm 100% sure it's the pad and not the player because you can be standing PERFECTLY in the center while trying to choose a song and the thing is spinning like nobody's business. During gameplay it doesn't record valid steps. No one wants to play this game at my house anymore; it's just not fun.
I'm going to try to find some by the original manufacturer.
Dance Pad doesn't work with DDR2 Jan 19, 2009
Didn't work with DDR2. I thought I had a defective unit so I sent it back. I received a new one which also didn't work. Unfortunately, its going back too.
It smells terrible when you first open it.

Cheap quality, horrible smell Jan 06, 2009
The product has a very strong smell, something similar to cheap Dollar Store plastic. Spend enough time with it and you will end up with a headache caused by the smell.
The unit does not function with DDR2 games nad stopped working with DDR1 after using it for ~10 minutes. It seemed to be stuck on the start button located on the top right hand corner of the dance pad.
Stay away from this product and rather invest with a better brand.
This unit is going back to Amazon for refund.
