Good Questions, dissappointing game Dec 07, 2010
By M. Sherer This game so far has questions that are on par with that of the TV show, however, the game itself has rather crude graphics that show that not much effort was put into this game. The voice acting is ho hum and of course not Meredith Viera or Regis. When you win $1,000,000 nothing much happens except for a few pieces of large confetti drop. Besides not using your own Mii, during the game the screen shows your character, not the host. It is an example of how cheaply this game was turned out, they didn't even want to try to animate the guy asking you the questions and have his mouth move. It is worth a lot less than the price I paid, I would have paid more for a better effort and one of the original hosts doing the voice acting.
And the "Party Mode" where you play against up to 3 others completely fails, 20% of the time it "says" that you answered for example "D" when you very deliberately chose "A" with the 4-way rocker. It makes it more frustrating than its worth.

Just like the show! Nov 06, 2010

"Mom and More"
I actually like this game better than the actual tv show, probably because I finally get credit for answering the questions right! So far I have only played this game by myself, but you can play up to 4 players which looks like a lot of fun! The questions are challenging and they get harder as they go up for higher monetary values. There are over 2,500 unique questions which is nice because it will take me awhile to go through all of them! The game also includes the tv show features like Phone-A-Friend, which it calls a friend in the game and tells you there answer and the percentage accurate they believe they are, the Ask the Audience which tells you via the percentages what the audience thinks the answer is, and Double Dip which lets you pick a second answer if your first is wrong. You can also choose to Walk Away, but I just keep on guessing! You have to answer a set amount of questions to mark yourself at a set point which you then earn money, for example if you answer the third question wrong you win nothing but if you answer the fifth question right then you win $5000 and so on. Winning money opens up wardobe items to customize your avatar which are neat but I don't care too much about dressing my avatar. There are though tons of awards you could win which are challenges in themselves, like answering "X" questions correctly within 25 seconds, not using lifelines, and so on. Overall, I like the game and think it is challenging with its questions, although it is nice because it tells you the few upcoming topics, so if you know you are going to struggle with one then maybe you will save your lifelines or just Walk Away - American History is not a strong subject for me! I think this game will be really fun though with three other friends in the Party Mode. You also can't select a skill level (Beginner, Medium, Hard) so this game wouldn't be good for kids too young, but if they like the show then they will like the game!

multi player mode does not work Jun 22, 2011
By Mike C. In the multi player mode it often records the wrong answer selection. Another reviewer said the remote is just real sensitive and you have to be careful but in order to prove to my friend what was going on we played a round and both watched me when I buzzed in. I was as careful as can be but about every 5 or so answers it would choose an answer other than what I selected. So multi player is useless.
The regular game mode is pretty fun would have given it 4 out of 5 stars.

Not like the show, boring!!! Apr 13, 2011
By James E. Lee This could be a fun game if it was upgraded to be like the TV show but its boring in the way its played. You reach levels after each question and then another boring voice announces it each time which is further distracting and takes any fun out of it. I enjoy the TV show and thought this would be like it as they give these away on the show but its not!

Why only Female Avatars? Oct 25, 2010
By Robert Stedeford I'll Start by saying i'm not a big video gamer but i love the Game Show style games. Who wants to be a millionaire is what it is. It's a trivia game that has some difficult questions, it's simple to control and understand. Graphics are standard for this genre. I wish you could use your Mii people for these games (Family Feud, Press Your Luck, Price Is Right) instead your forced to use these odd looking characters that are all female. That's my only complaint but I enjoy playing this and I'm looking forward to Wheel of Fortune and Jeopardy.
