Just Disappointing Jun 02, 2010 My wife and I bought this game because we had pretty much worn out our actual board games and all I can say is we were disappointed. We experienced similar issues with the font size being too small and difficult to read on a 42" HDTV. There were questions that were difficult for us, some even seemed miscategorized, but overall it made it interesting since we are both competitive. If only there was an option in the menu to increase the font size, we probably would have played it more than once. Now, it is just another case collecting dust...
Too random May 31, 2010 This game is somewhat annoying. There are geography questions in every category even though there is a separate geography category. And you have to pick out on a map without and references.
Second, but much worse, more than half of the movie questions are about Japanese films that absolutely no one has heard of outside of Tokyo. It makes no sense.
Stick to the board version.
Ok version of Trivial Pursuit Apr 03, 2010 I have been playing Trivial Pursuit with my family for YEARS! This is fun on the Wii, but the print is very small even on our big screen TV. I like that there are different types of questions with pictures, and other ways to ask instead of just the cards like the real game. Another downside would have to be that it moves slowly... roll dice, piece moves, question later, it could go a bit faster. But overall a fun game.
Fun to play. Feb 28, 2010 It's a fun game. Sure, the questions aren't easy, but Trivial Pursuit has never been for the intellectually lazy.
Fun game! Jan 07, 2010 I understand the concerns of some other reviewers. The text on the screen is small to read. However, my husband and I think the game is a lot of fun to play. I would suggest renting the game first, so you can decide for yourself.
