Lots of fun, but limited to single player save Dec 29, 2010
By Brett Gaspers My girls (8 and 10) and their friends have really enjoyed this game in the couple of days they've been playing it. This has been their favorite Wii game this Christmas and they are playing it over all their other Wii games (Super Mario Galaxy, Wii Sports Resort). They like doing the tasks and quests. Note that only one player at a time can play the game, this isn't a multi-player game.
However, there is one glaring deficiency with this game: Even though the game lets them select their own avatar, the game only has a single save slot; that is, each player can't set up their own avatar and save their own progress (as they can in, say, Super Mario Galaxy or Wii Sports Resort). Let that sink in. If you have two kids who want to play this game, they can't progress through it independently, they have to share a player. If your kids are good at sharing (or if you have a boy and a girl), you shouldn't have a problem. Otherwise, be warned that you may have to mediate.

Mommy - Daughter Fun Oct 03, 2010
By PepGirl My daughter and I had a really good time playing this game together. Some of the games were really tough to beat, like tetherball. We never won that one. You get to create things, grow things, etc and sell them at a price you set. It's great! I wish the game had more levels for continued play. I loved all the history, quotes and fun trivia that they included as part of the game. We would love to see more games like this.

great game for our Granddaughter! May 14, 2010
By 136 We bought Daring Girls for our Granddaughter, 6 y/o. She loves it. We had bought Dog Island and it seemed to move slowly and lacked interesting things to do. Daring Girls is packed with fun and learning opportunities. Highly Recommend.

Great Game! Dec 26, 2010
By Peggy It is so hard to find a game for our little girl that the rest of us can stand -- but this one is great. Not only does our 6 year old daughter like it, but our 9 year old son helps her. And it is not obnoxious, princess-y, or shrill -- definitely a good purchase.
