We love it Jul 26, 2010 I have two boys 5 & * and they love this game. The storyline is cute and they can't seem to get enough of it. The graphics are good and it is pretty easy to play. It seems like it takes 2 players working together to beat "The Boss," which is the end game of every chapter. Even I enjoy playing this game and watching them play. My one complaint about the game is that you aren't really solving the mysteries...you basically follow the path of the game and pick who you think the bad guy is based upon the easy to find clues (like his hat, or glove, ect.). Collecting the puzzle pieces of clues takes no skill. BUT this is a game for kids not adults, and they don't seem to mind that they are just moving through scenes and smashing everything in site to get scooby snacks and puzzle peices, and I didn't either! You can't go wrong with this game if you have young game playing children in your home.
Great franchise game for my 7 year old girl. Jul 11, 2010 First off, normally movie or tv franchise games stink, they just pimp out the name hoping for big bucks based on that. We wouldn't buy the first scooby doo Wii, heard it was sub-par. This one got good reviews, so I ordered it from amazon. I'm not a Wii gal. However, I played this with my daughter, and it was 4 hours later before I even noticed how much time had gone by. I'm not a gamer, I have to google how to pass certain points in any game. I don't do the cheats, I want to earn my win, but sometimes you just have to be shown how to accomplish a goal! Though I do give it a valiant effort first.
Now, because I'm not a gamer, my review is simple in nature. The graphics are basic, the game is enjoyable and challenging to me and my 7 year old girl. Many of the Mario games she has no interest in, but this held her interest for well over 6 hours. I don't generally let her play for more than an hour, usually she doesn't want to. But this game was fun for the two of us to do together.
I paid under [...] for it from Amazon. Well worth the price. I wouldn't pay more than $25 for it. Then again, I'm a bargain shopper and don't pay full price for much.
If you have a child who loves scooby doo like my angel, this game is a great addition to a scooby doo fanatics collection. Plus, anything that you can enjoy with your munchkin is always great fun and worth the price. Enjoy.
this is a good game Jun 24, 2010 I got this game for my boys 16 12 7 & 4 they all really liked it they won the whole game and still like playing it over and over even my girls liked it it was fun they said15 14 & 10 it was well worth the cost even though I used a gift certficate. I guess my 4 year old did need little help till he got the hang of it .
Buggy Jun 10, 2010 This game has soooo many bugs. The characters get stuck in certain places in the game and you have to work really hard to find a way to get them unstuck. Additionally, 3 different times when I was playing this game, the game completely froze up and started buzzing when I changed characters to a bad guy. This game seriously needed more testing before being released.
great game May 23, 2010 I gave this game to my daughter for her birthday and she loved it. I ended up playing with her and I started enjoying playing it too. It's great for kids and adults. It's not too hard and not too easy either.
