RockStar Table Tennis Apr 13, 2010 RockStar Table Tennis has, to say the least,
a huge learning curve ! I may like it if I can
ever figure out how to play it !!!
I thought a person could create his/her own
player/character/avatar...if the process is in
there, I have not found it yet, or it has not
been unlocked. Unlike EA Sports Grand Slam Tennis
which is hard, but, terrific...RockStar is difficult.
I will not give up as I want that extra challenge
and difference of play from Sports Resort table tennis.
Buy with caution and get a good deal so you will not
regret your purchase. I got a good deal I can live with.
TO HARD AND COMPLEX Jan 22, 2010 This game is impossible to play and is very difficult to use. I bought the paddles and it was a waste of money. I am going to trade in the game for Wii sports resort or Mario Kart. DO NOT BUY THIS GAME, if you do you will be extremely disappointed and confused on how to play it.

Disappointing in 2009 Dec 30, 2009 The presentation makes the game play seem more than it is. The play of the players is slow and control is archaic by today's standards. On the Wii, one would expect to be able to throw spin by paddle motion. This is not the case. Spin is done the "old fashioned" way by pressing the arrows and buttons in combination to get different effects. The game is a let down. The closest play to real paddle control comes from the Wii Sports Resort game. Now...if they'd allow you to control your character back to the middle of the table...I'd be in heaven.

Very boring May 23, 2009 Dont buy this. I only inserted it twice in my wii, ist complicated to play and i dount it boring, never played more then 5 minutes because it just dont make you feel for it. If you are a ping pong player that knows all the rules and the sping, moves, etc, you will like this. Overall I think its slow for the wii, it doesnt load as fast and the persons I showed it too said I should change it right away after 3 minutes of watching. The menu is horrible. Most people dont know what to do with it. Until you start playing you have to train and there are just to many steps. I usually love technical games with several moves and stuff but this just sucks
The controls simply don't work Mar 19, 2009 For the life of me, I could not get this game to work properly for me. I couldn't even get past the training sessions because the controls just don't seem to work in standard mode. The only way I got any enjoyment from the game was using the nunchuck, which isn't terrible, but the game should work as-in, out of the box. The cheap tennis game in WiiSports worked 10 times better and it was just a throwaway game. The graphics for this game are very good and it seems it could be a great game, but when you make a certain motion with the Wii controller, the on-screen character just doesn't match up, which is highly frustrating.
I would rather have a game with lame graphics that actually works well and plays well and is fun, then a great looking game that you can't play with any accuracy.
