My Son Loves it Aug 05, 2010 My mother picked this game up for my 5 year old son. At first, I wasn't sure about it, but when we popped it in, I realized I had nothing to worry about.
One might be surprised to hear that a 5 year old plays this game but the characters are very amusing, the game play is easy to pick up on, and the ability to use creativity with ease to build really cool things and affect the background puts the icing on this inexpensive little gem. Great for kids and adults!
MySims Kingdom Jul 12, 2010 I have run into several glitches in this game and had to restart a few times. Not a bad game when it works properly.
Easy and uncomplicated Jul 11, 2010 This game is not much of a challenge at all. You get missions to go on and earn parts to build things with. It is fun but I got bored with it fairly quickly. I have not played the whole game through yet although I've had it for a while, so maybe missions get harder as it goes on.
Kid approved!! May 10, 2010 Ever since I got the Wii, one of my big problems has been trying to find games that are both appropriate & easy for my niece to play. Either the games just aren't age appropriate or they're just a little too difficult for her to play & she gets frustrated. She loves sim games like Animal Crossing, but she is always wanting something new to play once the older games lose their appeal for her.
MySims Kingdom is a nice combination of the two- the controls are incredibly easy for her to use, plus there's no objectionable material in the game for her mom to get angry over. The basic goal of the game is to help King Roland rebuild his kingdom & that's a pretty easy task to accomplish.
While it is easy for my niece to play, it isn't a game that she is beating quickly & it has proven to be one of the better games that I've bought recently for her. She loved being able to pick out the various characteristics for her sim character & she enjoys reading the various messages that pop up. (She's learning to read, so she enjoys reading things out loud to everyone to show her skill.)
I like this game as well, although it will probably never replace the original sims games for me. Since most of the MySims games I've seen look like they're geared more towards younger audiences, I take the easiness of the games (for me) in stride.
You really can't beat the price on this or how family friendly it is!!
It's a cakewalk Mar 16, 2010 MySims Kingdom is a real quick game. It's easy enough to beat within a few days, it just depends on how dedicated you are. It's a charming game and has funny dialog, but once you finish the game, there really isn't much else to do. It's a game that challenges you with puzzles and lets you express your creativity throughout diverse lands. This is a very kid friendly game.
