Is a fun racing game. at least i have fun with it but i am not very good at it either.

The more that you play it, the better it gets. Unlock tracks, and vehicles. My daughter loves it, and I am not a game person; but I have to admit that I really enjoy playing it.

I always enjoyed racing games. NASCAR and INDYCAR and off road games on other systems. But those games aren't available for the WII. I want realism and something close to the real thing. I want career development and the feel of racing against known drivers. Off Road is about as close to those requirements as I have been able to get on the WII.
Yet it is a long way from actually achieving it. You collect damage but it doesn't seem to matter during a race. The circuits are fun and competitive but a bit hard to wind your way through the maze of paths.
The career isn't much...race...collect points...buy a car or repair damage...that's pretty much it.
It could be lots better but will do until something better is finally developed.

Our kids enjoy this game - they really love Ford trucks, to it was an easy choice. The controls are simple to learn and two can race against each other. The Wii Wheel is helpful for younger players, although not required. Much of the features come locked, so it only got 4 stars.
