Meh..would rather do something else. May 28, 2010 I wanted a driving game (other than mario-kart) for the Wii and my wife picked this one up for me as a surprise several months ago. I myself would have probably gone for one of the Need for Speed series titles since I have played them on playstation before and enjoyed them, but I gave this a shot.
It is realistic in its feel and control feedback, takes quite a while to get the hang of and use the wii remote smoothly with it. Definitely a challenging game, The AI is tough and I haven't even scratched the surface on unlocking everything and I doubt I ever will. The graphics are good, not incredible, but better than I expected out of a Wii.
Some positives and negatives. Sadly one of my favorite parts of this is you can customize the look of your car. Graphic decals, paint schemes, numbering are featured with many visual options. The races are entirely too long...not possible to just sit down for a quick and fun race and jump to another track and do the same.
I guess how often I seek out and play this game sums up the review. I can't recall the last time I played it and don't plan on it anytime soon! The Money would have been better spent elsewhere. To me the Wii's strengths still lie in the sports games that get you up and moving!
So if you're looking for a realistic driving game without explosions and gimmicks, then this might be the one. It is just extremely lacking in some aspect I cant put into words. Its just NOT FUN.
Does Logitech Wii Speed Force Wireless Wheel work? Apr 20, 2010 I like the game, but I haven't played it much yet.
Ferrari Challenge doesn't seem to work for the Logitech wheel. If anyone has any luck with it, What's the procedure that works for you?
Thanks.

Don't waste your time! Feb 20, 2010 I'm surprised that this game has ANY positive reviews. Great graphics?? As compared to what? In my opinion, this game was awful. I bought it, then sold it the next day. A complete waste.

Great Concept, Wrong Platform Dec 31, 2009 I've had this game for a year now, and the most frutrating thing is the lack of steering control. The WII remote has a very limit range that it works for. To much left or right and the car heads straight off course. Then when you try to get back on course, it exaggerates the movements and turns too much.
If the game was available in a PC Platform where I could use a force/feel steering wheel and pedals, I think I would enjoy it more. As is, it's not very enjoyable.

Very poor steering control Oct 19, 2009 I simply could not keep the car on the track. I found I had very little control on steering. Especialy going through turns. This game is more of an aggrevating experience than enjoyable. $19.00 down the tube. Next time I'll rent before I buy.
