3I loved it once I figured out how to zoom the screen  Jul 08, 2009 By Hunter's Wife "Diane"
I was frustrated like some of the other reviewers concerning size of images until I realized that you hold the trigger and push and pull with your arms to enlarge and shrink the scene. This is a miniscule blurb in the instructions that is VERY easy to miss. If you don't enlarge the screen, forget it you can't find squat.

Once I got my zoom down, I next worked on the getting rid of the narrative. (its poor, over-acted and annoying) Besides, you don't need it, the subtitles tell you what to do and you can hit your 'A' button to move through them faster.

Here's why I have so much fun with this game. It is addictive and a rather decent seek and find game, I just do a few things:
- turn the t.v. sound to zero (0)
- turn on my amp, find my favorite digital radio channel
- put on my favorite music and pump it through the room
- pour myself a tall one
- sit back and seek -n- find....

4You have to ZOOM on the screen to find the objects!!  Mar 04, 2010 By Adam Gravlee "~Miss Darlene"
Remember everyone: ZOOM THE SCREEN! You can't see anything otherwise. There is just no way anyone would say that they couldn't find squat, unless they didn't know to zoom the screen. This is how hidden object games work on the Wii and DS. You zoom in and then scroll around. In this game, as soon as you get into a room, you will see an establishng shot of the room. Then you press the trigger (B) on the wiimote and pull towards you, and this zooms in on the room. You then scroll up, down, left, and right on the screen, allowing you to look at different enlarged segments of the room, one at a time. The items are definitely visible enough to find, but not so easy that it's not a challenge. Sure it's not as good as the PC version, and the DS version is better because it's portable, has dual screens, and the controls are easier. But it's still a pretty good Wii game that fans of hidden object and puzzle game fans will enjoy---as long as you ZOOM! Sorry if I sound like a broken record, but there's a lot of very negative reviews. The people who say they couldn't find a single object has to be unaware of the zoom feature, or are suffering from some kind of eye trauma.

3Not a Bad game - 9 year old daughter loves it  Apr 26, 2009 By Michael A. Petras "MKKTJ"
My daughter loves Dinosaurs and anything to do with them. She also thinks she wants to be an archeologist. The game I agree is a little hard to find the hidden objects, but that doesn't seem to bother her. I find it more frustrating that she does.

This game is more for the slower moving group. She hates being timed on anything it makes her very anxious. This game is nice because she can work at her own pace and doesn't necessarily compete with anything.

I've never played it on the PC, but I hate loading games on my PC so we ordered this. we actually got it through Scholastic in January 09, and have played a lot of hours on it.

2Makes a better PC game.  Apr 19, 2009 By Elizabeth K. Turek
This is a computer game, made into a Wii game. Very hard to see images on the tv screen, just not as much fun as I thought it would be. I would recommend play on the PC vs the Wii. If you like hidden object games, buy Ultimate I Spy.

2Escape the Museum  May 01, 2009 By D. Martel
This is one of the worst games I've played on the Wii. I am a big fan of HOG (Hidden Object Games) on the PC and thought it would be fun on the Wii. WRONG. Very hard to navigate around the screen and the items are very hard to find. Not fun at all. Save your money on this one.
